How we seal it
Every OneRock surface is sealed with polyurethane. Which one depends on how hard the surface has to work.
Water-based polyurethane
A clear, low-odour, water-based seal that keeps the natural tone and soft depth of the microcement. Our standard choice for walls, feature surfaces and lighter-use areas, available in matt, satin or gloss.
Solvent-based polyurethane
A tougher, more hard-wearing seal for surfaces that take real use. More durable and more resistant to chemicals, water and abrasion — the right call for kitchen worktops, busy floors, bathrooms and commercial spaces.
A note on colour. OneRock is a hand-applied finish, so colour can shift with grain size, substrate, lighting and your chosen seal. The previews here are a guide to character and tone rather than an exact colour match — always sign off against a hand-made sample before specifying or ordering. The full palette is on display in our Cardiff showroom by appointment.
