How much microcement do I need?

Real-world OneRock coverage per coat, from our own installations — not the thinner laboratory figures. A typical system is three coats: two base coats and a top coat.

Where can I buy microcement in the UK?

Studio Cemento is the official UK distributor of Lunik microcement. We hold the full range in stock at our warehouse in Cardiff and deliver by pallet to installers and contractors across the UK.

Do you deliver microcement nationwide?

Yes. Orders are sent from our Cardiff warehouse by pallet delivery to sites and business addresses across the UK. Pallet delivery is £90 + VAT, or you can collect free from our unit in Cardiff.

Is your microcement stocked in the UK?

Yes. We keep Lunik systems on the shelf in Cardiff, so orders go out from UK stock rather than being imported from Spain for each job.

What is OneRock microcement?

OneRock is Lunik's ready-to-use acrylic microcement. It comes pre-mixed in 15 kg buckets in five grains — S, M, L, XL and XXL — and is used for walls, floors, showers and wet rooms, usually as a three-coat system finished with a matt polyurethane sealer.

How much microcement do I need per m²?

For OneRock, allow roughly 0.5 kg/m² per coat for S grain, 0.6 for M, 1.0 for L, 1.2 for XL and 1.5 for XXL. Most jobs use three coats. Send us your area and we'll calculate the full system, including primer, sealer and consumables.

Which sealer should I use in a shower or wet room?

We stock matt polyurethane sealers: Varnish W (water-based) and Varnish DSV (solvent-based, hard-wearing for wet rooms and worktops). Varnish DSV should go over a pre-seal coat of Primer. We'll recommend the right system for your job.

Can I get samples before I order?

Yes. We make 400 × 400 mm samples in our Cardiff workshop in any of our 22 colours and 5 textures, at £25 + VAT each, posted within 3–5 working days.

Do I need training to apply microcement?

We recommend it. As a Lunik-certified trainer, we run hands-on courses in Cardiff — a 3-day OneRock course and longer 4- and 5-day courses covering more Lunik systems.
