What you're sampling

This pouch is the finish coat only — the final colour and texture you'll see. To see the full effect of the top coat over a base, also add an XL or L base coat in the same colour and lay two base coats down first.

Where to apply it

• Straight onto the room's wall or floor — the best way to judge the colour and texture in the actual space and its real lighting. It can simply be sanded back before your installation begins.
• Or make a 500 × 500mm sample board on plywood or cement board, so you can move it around the room and view it under different light.

How to apply

1. Use a microcement trowel, flexible spatula, or even an old bank / loyalty card.
2. Spread thin, even coats and let it dry fully.
3. Lightly sand with 100–120 grit to reveal the natural grain and aggregate.

View it in natural daylight and evening light, alongside your flooring, paint, worktops and cabinetry before deciding. One 250g pouch covers ~0.25m² — enough for a single 500 × 500mm board.
