Alkali Resistant Fibreglass Mesh – 70gsm

Designed specifically for use within microcement systems, our 70gsm Alkali Resistant Fibreglass Mesh helps reinforce the base coat, improving crack resistance and overall system stability.

Embedded into the first coat of microcement, the mesh distributes movement across the surface and strengthens the installation, making it ideal for floors, walls, wet rooms, bathrooms and high-traffic areas.

Manufactured from alkali-resistant glass fibres, it is designed to withstand the high pH environment of cement-based materials without degrading over time.

Installation

Apply the first base coat and immediately embed the mesh into the wet material using a trowel. Ensure adjacent sheets overlap by approximately 50mm where required. Once embedded, apply the second base coat in accordance with the system specification.

Coverage

Each roll contains 5m² of mesh, making it ideal for use alongside our 5m² Studio Cemento Microcement Kits.
